The moment he said this Shanaya looked up in his eyes…..which was filled with the emotion that she was unable to name …..
“Bhabhi bhaiya apke hi hai ap unne shaadi ke baad bhi ghoor sakthi hoo” aarav said in his teasing tone making everyone chuckle and Shanaya blush…..
[Sister-in-law, brother is yours only you can stare at him after marriage also]
Abhiraj looked at Raj's and said “ Hume shaadi ki date fix karlena chahiye”
[ we should fix marriage date now ]
Raj nodded and said “ mai abhi hi pandit ko bulatha hu”
[I will call the priest now]
Kiana's grandfather interrupted and said “ bulane ki koi zarut nahi hai..Humne already un ko bulaya hai wo bas thoda late hogye hai traffic ke wajhse ….”
[ there is no need to call...we have already called them they might be stuck in the traffic]
Raj nodded and said “jab tak panditji nahi aajathe Kyuna hum lunch kare??”
[ till priest comes why don't we have our breakfast]
Neevadita nodded her head and asked them to make their way toward the dining hall…..
All of them got up and Shanaya was also going to get up but kiaan was not leaving her hand…
She looked at him again with a confused look….
“Lunch ke baad mujhe tumse kuch bat Karni hai..”saying that he got up with her and made his way toward the dining table where all were already sitting.
[ after lunch i want to talk to you]
He went to the end of the table while still holding her hand firmly and pulled a chair for her to sit on. After making sure that she was comfortable, he sat beside her…
Her mother started serving everyone …
After lunch everyone went to the living room….
But kiaan stopped Shanaya by holding her hand and said “show me your room” in his demanding voice
Shanaya wanted to take her fathers permission but she saw he was with everyone so she just nodded her head….
They made their way towards her room…
Shanaya opened the door and went inside, Kiaan followed her from behind and locked the door after entering the room…..
Hearing the locking of the door she turned her head to face him….
She saw him walking towards her with her his long strides….
When he finally reached near her …he was looking down to look at her eyes…
That was when she realized the height difference they both had and she barely touched his lower chest…..
This Made her look down again…..he held her chin softly and made her look up…
“Aaj se tum mere samne apni ankhe nahi jukawogi ….mere samne hi nahi balki kisike samne nahi ….samjhe?”
[ from today onwards you should not look down infront of me not just me but anyone...understood]
“ ji”.. she said looking inside his eyes..
“ apko mujse kuch bat karne thi…ji..” she asked ..
[ you wanted to talk with me]
He made his way towards the bed and sat on it, he called her towards him….
She hesitated for a moment but still made her way towards him…
Once she reached near him he held her hand and pulled her towards him making her fall on his lap…
Once she was on his lap he adjusted her sideways….making her legs dangle a little…..
She was a little bit embarrassed because of this….
He understood it and said while removing her hair strands from her face which was covering her eyes a little
“ Don't hide that blush. It only proves you belong exactly where you are.... on me, with me” with a teasing tone…..
Making her blush even more and hide face with her hands…
He laughed at her innocent tactics….
He made her remove her hands from face and made her look at his eyes and with a serious tone He asked
“ kya Sachi me tumhe iss shaadi se problem nahi hai,ya tum apne papa ke wajhse karna chathi ho..”
[ do you seriously don't have any problem with marrying me or you are just for your father]
“Jii.. mujhe kuch problem nahi hai ap acche ho aur apki puri family bhi, tho mujhe iss shaadi se kyu problem hogi…” she replied
[ Yes.. I have no problem in marrying you,you are nice, your whole family is nice why will I have problem]
“ mai accha nahi hu ….shaadi karne se pehle tumhe mai apne baare kuch Batana hai ..”
[ i am not nice. Before marriage i want to say about myself to you ]
“Kya hai ji..” she looked at him confused.
[ What is it]
“Mai ek CEO ke saath saath ek mafia hu aur Agar tum mere saath shaadi Karogi tho tumhe har waqt alert rahena padega aur kuch rules bhi follow karne padege….”
[ while being CEO i am also a mafia and if you are going to marry me then you must always be alert and also you must follow some rules]
She was scared a little bit but knew that she won't be able to back off from this wedding because her father would have killed her if she refuses….
“Ji” she hesitatedly said…
All this while he was caressing her back with his hands to smoothen her up….
She was lost in her world and he was just admiring her ….
They came to their senses when they heard a knock on the door…
She got from his lap in a jerk and looked at his face before she could say anything…
He had already made his way towards the door and opened it…
There stood shaurya.. he looked at kiaan and then at Shanaya and asked him “ tum dono band kamre mai kya kar rahe ho”..
[ What are you both doing behind the closed door]
Shanaya was going to justify but before she could open her mouth kiaan said “ Mr. Sharma,mai apni hone Wali biwi se kuch bat karna chata hu,apko koi problem hai uss se”
[ Mr. Sharma, I wanted to talk to my soon to be wife,do you have any problem with that]
“ accha,..ummm….thik hai. Niche chaliye sab log apka wait kar rahe hai pandit ji aye hai” Shaurya said.
[ ooo ok. Come down everyone are waiting for you both priest has come]
“Hum aate hai tum jao” saying this kiaan closed the door..
[We will come you go]
“ Hume niche jana chahiye saare log humara wait Kar Rahe Hoge”
[ we should go down everyone are waiting for us]
“Tho karne do unhe mujhe meri noor ke saath kuch waqt guzarna hai” he said, making her blush.
[ soo what,they can wair I want spend some time with my noor]

He just came towards her and kissed her forehead and said “I like it when you blush, when the reason is me"she gave him a shy smile
He turned to go when she stopped him by holding his coat from the edge “ ji.. apse kuch puchna tha”
[ i wanted to ask you something]
He looked back at her and motioned her to continue..
“ ji. Aap_ap ka naam kya hai” she was hesitating while asking because she was embarrassed that she didn't know his name and said yes to the marriage…..
[ ji.. wha_tt is your name]
“ Shaadi hone ke baad tumhe batauga” making her nod her head….
He patted her head and went to open the door…
[ after marriage i will tell you]
He Held her hand while coming downstairs only to make everyone look at them….
Shanaya was shy so tried hiding behind him..
They made their way towards everyone and sat beside each other…
Raj asked Shanaya “kaha the intne time tak dono akhle”..
[ where were you both till now alon]
Shanaya was going to answer when abhiraj said “ arre, Mr Sharma dono ki shaadi hone Wali hai kuch bat karna rahega, apko itni taqleef kyu ho raha hai”
[ arre Mr Sharma their wedding is going to happen they might want to talk, why are you having a problem]
“Nahi nahi Mr. Khurana mai tho bas…” Raj couldn't form any words under Abhiraj's hard gaze..
[ no no Mr Khurana I was just]
“Pandit ji wait Kar Rahe hai hum ko chlna chahiye” Neevadita tried to erase the uncomfortable situation by distracting them……
[ priest must be waiting we should go ]
“Pandit ji ap inn dono ki kundli dekhe ke ek Acha muharat dijiye” Meera gave the card to Pandit.
[ priest take these horoscope and find a good auspicious date for their wedding]
Pandit ji took some moments to analyze the card and calculate a proper date for the Marriage….
During this time kiaan started to trace Shanaya's back making her shiver due to his cold hand….
He leaned towards her ear and said “ Tumhe nahi Lagata ki tumhari blouse toda zyada hi backless nahi hai???”
[ don't you think your blouse is little too much backless]
“ ji wo Maa ne diya ye saree….” She said while stuttering a little…
[ jii.. mom gave me]
She grasped when she felt him trying to open the blouse strings… she looked at him with pleading eyes and said
“ ji aap ye kya kar rahe ho chodiye mujhe…” she got up from her seat abruptly….Causing everyone to look at them.
[ ji.. what are you doing leave me]
“ Beta kya hua yese kadi kyu hogyi tu ekdum se sab thik hai na…?” Abhiraj asked.
[ What happened why did you stand up so suddenly is everything alright]
“Ji uncle wo ek chiti ne kata iss liye …kya mai apke saath bet sakthi hu…” she asked innocently to abhiraj making his heart melt….
[ Yes uncle, it's just an ant bit me... can I sit with you]
Abhiraj always had this dream of having a girl child but all he got was sons…..
After seeing Shanaya he thought finally he had a chance of having a daughter…
It's not like he didn't love Ruhi… he loved her more than anything but he didnt wanted to take Abhishek's place in her life….
He also knew Shanaya didn't got a father's love…
So he had decided he will love her like she is his own daughter and protect her from this cruel world…..
“ tum mere baju bet sakthi ho par meri ek shart hai beta….” He said with a smirk on his face…
[You can sit with me but I have a one condition]
Meera knew what he was going to ask so she already had a smile on her face….
“Kya shart hai uncle” Shanaya asked with a confused face…
[ What condition uncle]
“ tum mujhe uncle nahi papa bulavogi ….tab hi tum mere baju mai bet sakthi hoo …samjhe”
[You have to call be papa, then only you can come and sit beside me]
The moment these words left his month everyone from Shanayas family looked at him with wide eyes while Raj chocked on air…..
Shanaya also looked at him in shock because the word “papa” was foreign to her….
Flashback
8 years old Shanaya
Today I came home with a trophy that I won in badminton game….
I came to my fathers office he kinda looked upset
“Mai apni trophy dikake unhe kush kar de thi hu…heheheh” I said to myself while smiling…..
[I will show him my trophy and make him happy hehehhe]
I knocked on the door …..he looked up and just asked me what in his rough tone…
Ignoring his tone I said to him “ Papa dekho mujhe trophy mila ha–” before i could complete he cut me off.
[ papa see i got a trophy..]
“Tumhe diktha nahi hai mai Kam Kar raha hu….. jao yaha se”....
[ can't you see i am working...go from here]
“ par papa ek baar dekho tho ….. papa ….papa..pa_”I was just insisting him but he said something that broke my little heart into small pieces
[ but papa just once you see papa... papa pa_]
“Nahi hu mai tere papa mujhe papa mat bulau tum …..you are just a mistake that I regret……”
[I am not your papa, don't call me as your papa ....you are just a mistake that I regret]
FLASHBACK ENDS
Seeing Shanayas shocked face abhiraj thought he made her uncomfortable making him lose his smile ..
He looked at meera who saw all this and just comforted him by keeping her hand on his and caressing it ,providing a silent comfort…..
Kiaan held her hands making her come back to the present…
Abhiraj looked at her with a concerned face and said “ Agar tum uncomfortable ho tho Chalega beta ……aao ya par mere saath betoo…..”
[ If you uncomfortable in calling that it's okk no need to worry... come sit beside me ]
Shanaya moved her legs toward him and sat beside him. He patted her head with a smile …
“Thank you papa ji” When she said it the smile on his face widened even more….
Everyone present there were looking at them the only difference was kiaans family looked with a smile, where as Shanayas family thought they were just overreacting……
The moment broke when pandit called and said “ Khurana ji shaadi ke liye do sabse Acha muharat mila hai, ek das din baad aur ek 4 mahine baad”
[ Khurana ji for the wedding their are 2 auspicious date one is after 10 days and the other is after 4 months]
“ek bahut jaldi hai aur ek bahut late” saanvi said with a worried voice….
[ one date is too soon and other is too late]
“ beta tum dono bolo Kab rake hum” meera asked
[You both say which date]
Shanaya asked “jab bhi apko thik lage” while looking at her lap.
[ whenever you say]
Kiaan stands up abruptly infront of everyone stares at Shanaya,who glanced at him for a second and went back on looking at her lap…
Abhiraj was going to say something but cut off by kiaan…
“Na dus din…Na char mahine. Shaadi toh tab hogi jab main Chauhan. Aur Agar mujhe roka tho …yaad rakhna, main Shanaya ko utha le jaaunga….”
[ neither 10 days nor 4 months the wedding will happen when I want. And if someone tried to stope mee then remember I will take Shanaya away from here]
With a demanding voice he said while looking at Shanaya who was looking at him with a doe eyes which was filled with innocence…..
“Shaadi Kal hogi,aur aaj shaam ko Engagement 💍”
[ the wedding will be happening tomorrow and today evening will be the engagement]
